Hi! I’m Cat Lopez, a NYC born and raised artist that loves to bring fun and diverse ideas into art. Just like NYC, my inspiration – largely fueled by the city– never sleeps.

Attending SVA has allowed me to narrow my interests within animation and focus my practice in 2D animation, especially in my biggest passions: storyboarding, and character design.

From the conceptual stage of a piece, through the subtle design and animation details, being able to communicate to an audience via my artwork is both inspiring and thrilling.
